Education

Opera Playhouse runs workshops and courses for singers of all standards – from community workshops and schools to specialised role coaching for professional and student singers.

Our work in schools ranges from an introduction to opera to more detailed work, such as a fully-staged production of Purcell’s Fairy Queen in three days for Godolphin School.

Our week long courses for professional and gifted amateur singers take place in Tregwynt Mansion, Wales and La Almuna in Andalucia.  This intense period allows us to develop productions of particular operas that can then be tailored to any situation.  The courses culminate in performances and then tour to professional theatres.
